AccuBoost Technology Webinar
On January 3rd, 2019, David Wazer, M.D., presented the AccuBoost technology to everyone in attendance.
AccuBoost is a non-invasive brachytherapy procedure that uses real-time mammography images for targeting the partial breast dose. The procedure is marketed as a replacement for electron boost, but in fact is an ideal replacement for invasive APBI procedures. AccuBoost is now considered as a preoperative radiotherapy administered prior to surgery.
